Project Description: 

Hickey Metal operations includes over 400,000 SF of manufacturing space spanned across seven locations. Hickey Metal expanded building #7 with a 25,000 SF addition that includes two aisles of 5-ton cranes and jib cranes throughout the new space. This expansion was fast‐tracked for the delivery of a new state of the art Trumpf Sort and Stack Laser. Tucker Cope served as the Senior Management Lead for the Structural Engineering scope of this metal fabrication plant addition. Tucker worked closely with the owner to ensure careful design and timely delivery of the project. Tucker also attended all project coordination and planning meetings. Nicholas Sheely designed the grading plan, building layout on site, full site design, storm water management system using Underground System, and erosion and sediment plans in accordance with NPDES permitting. Nicholas also proposed the asphalt entrance, parking lot, and utility connections.
