Project Description: Envelope 1 and Digital Direct accommodated their rapidly growing businesses by merging two companies into one and expanding into a new 100,000 SF facility located in Columbiana, OH. The companies specialize in envelope manufacturing and direct marketing. The new building includes a full climate and humidity-controlled atmosphere due to the delicate nature of paper products and technologically advanced machines that require rapid envelope sorting control. High bay windows were incorporated into the design to optimize natural light. The roof slope is 0.5000/12" and twelve roof curbs were used for this project. The warehouse includes split face CMU exterior walls and poured concrete foundation walls. The office features full height masonry columns, a structural steel entrance tower, horizontal shadow panel for siding, exterior window bands that accentuate curb appeal, an epoxy floor highlighting the family logo in the main entrance, and a floating interior staircase.
